SSC Constable Recruitment 2024 || 39481 Constable GD Posts

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued an official notification for the recruitment of 39,481 vacancies for the position of Constable (General Duty) in various forces, including the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), and Secretariat Security Force (SSF). Additionally, the recruitment includes Rifleman (General Duty) positions in the Assam Rifles (AR) and Sepoy roles in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Eligibility Criteria
The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination from a recognized Board/ University.
Nationality
The candidate must be a citizen of India. Vacancies in CAPFs & AR are State/UT/area wise, hence a candidate must submit a domicile certificate/ PRC against his domiciled state/ UT.
Age Limit
Candidate age must be between 18 to 23 years as on 1st January 2025. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02-01-2002 and later than 01-01-2007 in normal course.
Age Relaxation
1. SC/ST: 5 years
2. OBC: 3 years
3. EX-Servicemen: 3 years
Pay Scale Pay Level -1 (Rs 18,000 to 56,900) for the post of Sepoy in NCB and Pay Level – 3 (₹21,700/- to ₹ 69,100/-) for all other posts.
