IIT JAM Notification 2025 || Joint Admission Test for Masters
The Joint Admission Test for Masters (JAM) is a nationwide online examination that offers admission to various postgraduate programs, including M.Sc., M.Sc. (Tech), M.S. Research, M.Sc.-M.Tech. Dual Degree, Joint M.Sc.-Ph.D., and M.Sc.-Ph.D. Dual Degree, across multiple disciplines. It is conducted by premier institutes across India to promote Science as a viable career option for bright students.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has released the official notification for the IIT JAM 2025 exam. This year, IIT Delhi will conduct the computer-based JAM 2025 on Sunday, February 2, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates who wish to pursue a career in basic sciences can apply online for this entrance test.

| Eligibility Criteria |
The candidates who qualify in JAM 2025 must fulfill the following Eligibility Requirements (ERs) for admissions to IITs.
1. Candidates should have passed an undergraduate degree or should be currently studying in their final year of undergraduate programme. Proof of having passed the qualifying degree with required eligibility, as specified by the Admitting Institute. 2. Candidates promoted without a marksheet should produce a certificate stating the subjects studied in that semester/year duly signed by the Head of the Institute. 3. Foreign nationals with Indian degree are eligible to apply, subject to policy of the Admitting Institute. # It is responsibility of the candidates to prove that they satisfy the Minimum Educational Qualifications (MEQs) and Eligibility Requirements (ERs) for admission. |
| Age Limit | JAM 2025 is open to all nationals (Indian/Foreign) and there is no age restriction. |
| Physical Fitness | At the time of admission, all admitted candidates will have to submit a Physical Fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed form. The admitted candidates may also have to undergo a Physical Fitness test by a medical board constituted by the Admitting Institute. Admission is liable to be cancelled if a candidate is found physically unfit to pursue their chosen course of study. |
