Most of you are likely aware that for many Grade C and Grade D positions under the Assam Government, submitting an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate is a mandatory requirement during the recruitment process. Therefore, having an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate is essential for applying to any government jobs in Assam. In this article, we'll guide you through the process of registering your name with the Employment Exchange and obtaining your certificate.
Previously, the application process for Employment Exchange Registration was conducted offline. However, starting from 27th September 2021, the Department of Skill, Employment and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of Assam, has fully digitized the process. As a result, you can now apply online for an Employment Exchange Registration Certificate in Assam, and the manual registration process has been discontinued.
Candidates registered before 2nd January 2024 in employment exchanges of assam are requested for re-registration through SEWA SETU portal as soon as possible. For the convenience of these candidates, the re-registration service on SEWA SETU portal has been extended upto 31st December 2024.
